Standard Rooms
Shetland
Welcome to your room - our most intimate room, and like the group of islands it’s named after, a magical place to watch the sun set on Scotland.
The Shetland islands are steeped in history, holding some of the world’s richest Viking heritage and even further back, with stone walls dating back as far as 3400 BC. More recently known for the sturdy, and endlessly endearing Shetland pony and the “Simmer Dim” phenomenon which sees the islands get almost a full 24 hours of sunlight sometimes.
Like these enchanting islands, this room brings a place to see the sun set, the historic cast iron features of the historic Alamo building and slice of quiet from the bustle.
Indulge in the comfort of your Shetland Room, complete with private bathroom facilities just steps away.
